A Well-AiM'd Summer!

This was a very busy summer for AiM.

We started out with the JAC/AiM partnership with Englewood Parks and Rec. The Arts Camp was held at MacKay park. We had great weather. The threat of rain one day but it did not side track us. We offered: Dance, Music, Painting, and Beading. We had 104 children, ages 5-13. Our teachers and volunteers did a wonderful job giving every student a chance to find their talent and create beautifully.

Later in the summer we provided the same opportunities to our Metro family youth. The Metro Youth Conservatory was more than we could have imagined. Most courses filled up before sign ups ended. Because of the overwhelming response we will start earlier next year and offer even more courses. This year we offered: Dance (Hip Hop, Modern), Water Color, Art History, Music Theory, Vocal Technique, Acting, Beading, and Pastry arts. Later in the month we offered acting and vocal technique to the adults at Metro. We inviting teachers who were top in their fields and we were stretched to give God our very best, to be skillful in all we do, and to give God the praise always.

We finished off the summer with the annual AiM BBQ.

All in all it was a great summer of learning a creating!
