Can we be a church family that seeks unity and justice?

On Saturday morning, December 12th, many of Metro's leaders came together to learn from Rev. Dr. Alex Gee as he led us in a discussion about racial justice. The Rev. Alex Gee of Madison is pastor of Fountain of Life Covenant Church and founder/CEO of the nonprofit Nehemiah Center of Urban Leadership in Madison, Wisconsin. We were challenged by what he had to say as he encouraged us to be a church family that isn't just committed to racial justice, but to being a safe place to ask hard questions and seek God's answers. He reminded us to pray for unity and to be committed family for one another.
