When it all seems to come together

Summer Movie review started a couple of weeks ago with Avengers: Civil War.  Our 7 year old son was intrigued and asked to sit with me in main services – thinking he was going to see the film I’m sure.

The girls were doing Merge in main service as well.  Near the end of service we all ended up in the back of the room.  Christy shuffles by and we all just stood in a family hug for worship time.

For the first time in a long time – I felt we really had it all together.

We have issues, life issues….. you know the ones – faith, marriage, raising kids to be respectful while teaching relationship management, independent decision making, and the importance of eating your veggies.  Not to mention careers, ambitions and of course finances.

We struggle – as everyone does – but when those moments come – unplanned and unsought – when you feel there is no place else in the world you would rather be and you don’t want it to end.  Those moments are fleeting and when they happen with your closest and most trusted by your side, well we thought we would just share that good moments do come and these are the moments that make it all worthwhile.
