What's Happenin' At Metro?
We have identified a trusted ministry partner that is currently providing real-time relief for the suffering people of Puerto Rico. The National Latino Evangelical Coalition (NaLEC) is uniting multiple churches, denominations and agencies in bringing aid to the hardest hit areas of Puerto Rico. Metro will receive a one-time special offering this Sunday, October 22 for NaLEC's work in Puerto Rico, or you can give directly by visiting this web page - http://tinyurl.com/nalec-puertorico.For more info, please contact Pastor Kevin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please join us every Thursday for a time to listen to the Bible. Hear a professional recording of the Old and New Testaments. Lunch will be provided. For more information, please contact Pastor Clay at email@example.com.

The Women's Ministry is hosting an evening of testimony and worship on Saturday, October 28 from 7pm at the Metro Office. Come hear how the Lord has been moving in the lives of the women around you through word, song, dance and poetry. Light refreshments will be provided afterward. Childcare will also be available - please let us know how many kids you will be bringing so we can make the proper arrangments. For more info, email email@example.com.
Metro families and friends - come celebrate the beauty and fun of the fall season at our 2nd annual Fall Fun Fest on Oct. 29 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at the Grieco Elementary family parking lot! There will be lots of activities including a "trunk-or-treat", a pumpkin "patch", and various other games. All are welcome, so please join us and feel free to come along in costume...just not a violent or scary costume, as there will be many small children present. For more info, please contact Na at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Bible directs us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and tells us that if we humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face, and repent - God will heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). Mosaic - Metro's team devoted to diversity and racial reconciliation - invites you to join us for an afternoon of "interactive prayer" on behalf of ourselves, our church, and the world on Saturday, November 4 from 2pm-5pm at the Metro office. To learn more about this unique, can't-be-missed prayer experience, please contact Pastor Sanetta at email@example.com.

Our guest preacher will be Metro's own Pastor Sanetta, who will unpack the Word on what it means (and how much it costs) to be a part of the body of Christ; and ARISE Worship will join and lead us into worship over the weekend. It should be an amazing time dedicated to fellowship with God and each other. If you've been wanting to serve at Metro, we have the perfect opportunity! Come help out at the Fall Fun Fest on Sunday, October 29. There are many ways you can serve. Come to our sign-up table in the hallway on Sunday or email Na Kong at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about how you can help. You will receive more details once you sign up. Thank you!
Hello, parents! We know that parenting is a joy, but can be also a challenge. We need God's help - we need prayer. Because of this, we will be setting up a "prayer station" for families every Sunday in the hallway across from the Media Center (where MetroKids meet). The station will be open for prayer from the conclusion of the sermon and after service each week, where someone will pray with and for you and your whole family. Keep an eye out for and follow the green Prayer Stations signs on Sunday!
Do you have a talent or skill you’d like to teach to kids? Volunteers are needed to help out at the McCloud Elementary After School Program. Volunteers can help with homework OR teach a recreation class. As an instructor, you will provide a class of your own choosing and design your own schedule. To volunteer, please contact Pastor Sanetta at email@example.com.
The Breakdown team is looking for some capable women & men to help transform the church back into a school after 2nd service. The commitment is just two Sundays per month (and we're usually finished by 2pm). Sounds like something you could do? Please contact Simon Kong or Kevin Park at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.

Dear Metro Community,
Olya and I have been at Metro for many years and nothing means more to us in being part of a community than to serve. We have served in different ministries, but what gives us the most joy is to put our God given skills to work for His glory.
We, as photographers, have always sought to give voice to the arts in ministry, and to encourage others to pursue their passion. We also believe in the work Metro Community Church is doing, which is why we want to support Metro financially by doing what we do best.
For the very first time, we would like to donate our Family Portrait Sessions from "Tony & Olya Photography" to Metro Community Church, where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the church.
We hope this will be a great opportunity for us to serve the families of Metro who are interested in having a family portrait session, to help build community (we love meeting new people!), while supporting the church that we love!
If you attend Metro Community Church and would like to have your family's portrait taken, we are offering a 45-minute session for $225 and a 90-minute session for $425...
To book a session or for more information, please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
