And we play ball...

On May 28th, 2016 Metro Community Center held it's first 3 on 3 basketball tournament for the City of Englewood. It was well attended and deeply appreciated by all of the participants.

What was remarkable was the dedication and collaborative effort of a public private partnership between Uptown Barbers and Metro Community Center.  Englewood is in desperate need of a Community Center where the youth can find their way to positive interactions and extra curricular activities and this served as a start in bringing change.

So while we as a community wait for that to happen, it is incumbent upon community leaders and community businesses to come together on behalf of the people. This is exactly what happened.
