Metro Food Drive
Even though the government shutdown has ended and SNAP benefits have been restored, many of our neighbors are still facing a food crisis, especially as the holidays approach. Here's how you can help:
PRAY – for those facing food insecurity.
GIVE – by donating items from the list below.
RECEIVE – if you are in need, please reach out to your church family for support.
If you are in need, please contact Mama Moore or Pastor Sanetta.
Most Needed Items:
Gift cards (ShopRite, $25)
Canned meat and fish
Canned pastas, stews, chilis, hearty soups
Canned tomatoes and vegetables
Pasta, white or brown rice
Dried or canned beans
Low-sugar cereal
Peanut butter and jelly
Please ensure all food donations are within their expiration date.
All donations will support members of our Metro family as well as the Englewood Public School District Food Pantry and the Center for Food Action.
For more information, please contact Pastor Sanetta at sanetta.ponton@emetro.org.
